Walking canes for knee osteoarthritis
The use of a cane is one of a number of non-drug treatments for knee osteoarthritis. People who have pain and difficulty with walking may use a walking cane to decrease the load transmitted through their knee, thus improving pain and physical function.
One of our CRE researchers and physiotherapists, Charlotte Marshall demonstrates how to correctly use a walking cane for clinicians and people with knee osteoarthritis.
